 We started later in the day, while the sun was going down....it was so much fun, and the light changed pretty quick! Went to the "M" tree, and then down to Westport Point.

Harrison Family
We started out at thier beautiful house, then headed over to the beach. It was a really pretty October day, little windy...but georgous. Until we got over the hill at Cherry and Webb...then it became a full-out tornado sandstorm! Thankfully we found a much less windy (and sandy) location and everyone did great!

Hysterical. They kept cracking each other up, making faces....thier personality shined through every single photo. LOVED IT. :)






 


 
 October at the beach
Well, we had planned on doing a fall shoot, but little did we know it would wind up being 80 degrees in October! So....we went to the beach!



 




Mr. Brayden has arrived....

The Walk for Westport
The Westport Education Foundation and the Friends of the Westport Council on Aging sponsored a community 5k walk around beautiful Westport Harbor....$1 hot dogs, pizza and drinks, free crafts and a magic show for the kids, great music, gorgeous beach setting....it was just an amazing day for everyone!

     
     



The Learys

It's not easy to get 4 kids ready and out the door for a photo shoot, but they did it! I was so happy the sun broke though and gave them an incredible day.

Yet another beautiful two week old baby, how lucky am I? Such a cutie-pie!

I turned off the flash, and just left some soft light on him, mixed with a little natural light....


      






Hope and Thames

I was really excited for this shoot in Bristol, RI!  We walked around the downtown area on Hope Street, then down to Thames near the water. There is so much so see and so many beautiful backgrounds to take advantage of there.

If you are ever stuck trying to think of a place for a photo session, sometimes start with a place that means something to you personally...you will see that because it's special to you, the pictures just make themselves!

 



  

 

 


Bring on the Beach!

Horseneck Beach Session - A lot of clients ask me about if it's ok to do a beach session if it's cloudy--yes it is! During this session, the clouds were threatening the whole time to rain..but because of the cloud cover, the different look the sky gives in different pictures is beautiful and, I think classic.



 

  

Summer on Stage

I had the privilege of photographing Summer on Stage --an Acting Camp for kids in Westport. It was an incredible camp focused on self-esteem building as well as acting. The kids create everything from the story to the props to the costumes......I had a BLAST and the kids did too!!



      


Horseneck Beach

This session was at Horseneck Beach-as it turned out, it was with a friend I hadn't seen since High School! It was so great to see him again and meet his beautiful family.

 

    



      

 


Cherry and Webb

So happy it's summer again and can get to the beach! Here are some photos from a session at Cherry and Webb Beach in Westport, MA....I was soaked and full of sand by the end and it was worth every second! :)

These sessions are crazy messy, but I LOVE them. The kids have such a great time, and seeing the looks on the kids faces when they realize they can just literally smash the cake is priceless!
